Scout Del Real is Theatre Arts major at Las Positas planning to finish his Associates Degree for Transfer in the Summer of 2026! Scout has been performing for as long as he can remember, with his first big role being Toulouse in Town Hall Theatre Kids’ production of The Aristocats at the age of five. In his teenage years, Scout spent his summers training with YoungRep at the Lesher Center for the Arts, where he studied acting, directing, musical theatre and more. He has since gone on to perform professionally with various companies throughout the Bay Area, including CenterRep, Berkeley Playhouse, and even Town Hall Theatre where he first started nearly two decades ago!

 

Scout’s time with the Actors Conservatory has been nothing short of a dream come true. Some major highlights for him include dance captaining the premiere production of Sueños: Our American Musical, performing at Eugene O’Neill’s historic Tao House, and playing the Cowardly Lion in one of his favorite childhood stories, The Wizard of Oz. But probably the most significant, life changing experience Las Positas has gifted him with is the iconic role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. He is so immensely lucky to call the remarkably talented people in the Las Positas theatre community his friends and mentors, and he is endlessly grateful for everything they’ve given him throughout his time in the Actors Conservatory.
