About the Show:
A new original, contemporary musical, celebrating Mexican/Chicano people and cultures
and weaves their stories into the fabric of the American Musical Theatre. A powerful
score blending Mexican and Latiné influenced
rhythms with traditional musical theatre. SUEÑOS is a Mexican American/Chicano generational
story about identity, sacrifice and the American Dream in the late 90’s, while living
in the San Francisco Bay Area. The story explores an aspiring classical composer,
Ali Viramontes, and his dream of going to Juilliard. With the support of his mother
and new friends, he attempts to make his dream come true, even when the odds are stacked
against him.

Las Positas College Theater Arts is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the Eugene O'Neill Foundation and the National Park Service.
Together, we will present two unforgettable evenings of performance celebrating the works of Eugene O'Neill and his contemporaries. These special performances will take place at O'Neill's historic Danville home, Tao House, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark since 1976.
Following the Tao House performances, we will tour our productions back to LPC for an extended run in our black box theater.
Join us for powerful storytelling and rich theatrical history in the very place where some of O'Neill's greatest works were created.
