Las Positas College

Welcome to the
Basic Needs Department At Las Positas College!

At the Basic Needs Department, we believe student success and retention begin with having basic needs met. We work to normalize access to nutritious food by offering free groceries on campus and providing supportive spaces for students to connect with campus and community resources.

We also provide direct support to students impacted by food insecurity and housing insecurity through programs such as Food Justice Scholars and Housing Justice Scholars.
