Campus Safety and Security Mission
The mission of Campus Safety and Security at Las Positas Community College is to work with all members of the campus community to ensure safe learning and working environments, to protect persons and property, and to effectively promote compliance with rules and regulations approved by the Board of Trustees for the orderly facilitation of higher education. We are committed to providing high-quality, customer-oriented, sensitive security and safety services, and to respecting the differences and diversity of our students and staff.
Jeanne Clery Disclosure
In compliance with the Jeanne Cleary Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Las Positas College has made crime reporting statistics available online. Reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Las Positas College and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus, during the last three years are included. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other safety matters.
