Mackenzie McDonald is an aspiring actor, teaching artist, and life-long Sims player. During her time in the Actors Conservatory at Las Positas College she has participated in many shows such as The Wizard of Oz: Muny Version (Munchkin Farmer), The Rocky Horror Show (U/S Columbia), and Sense and Sensibility (Anne Steele). Mackenzie started her theatrical journey in elementary school and has a prominent improv background. She was a part of award winning teen improv troupe: Creatures of Impulse for four years and later went on to become an assistant director of the troupe. She also teaches adult improv through Team Theatre.

When she is not performing she is directing children’s shows and camps. Mackenzie began working in children's theater in 2022 at Pleasanton Youth Theater Company. Since then she has directed over ten shows including Legally Blonde Jr, 13: The Musical Jr, and Anastasia: Youth Edition, as well as workshops such as audition workshops and scene study workshops.
Mackenzie works with ages five through eighteen and works with other theaters including PlayCV and I Can Do That! Mackenzie is thankful for all that she has gained from the conservatory and hopes to bring what she has learned to the children that she teaches.
