Maahee Joshi

Maahee has wanted to perform and entertain audiences for as long as she can remember.
Whether it be through her self-choreographed, Bollywood dance solos at age three or
pursuing theater professionally, the performance arts have always been an intrinsic
part of her identity. She
first stepped foot on stage as a student of Kathak, an Indian classical, storytelling
dance form which she trained in for ten years.
Growing up in India before moving to the United States in 2023 allowed Maahee’s worldview
to be shaped by diverse perspectives, cultures and ways of life. This unique life
experience has positively influenced her work in performance letting her bring fresh
approaches to the roles she takes on. Her theater journey truly began when she joined
the Actors Conservatory at Las Positas College. She was fortunate enough to play Lady
Macbeth in Macbeth, her first show here. Other shows include Sense and Sensibility (Fanny Dashwood), The Rocky Horror Show (Usherette/Magenta u/s) and Legends of Realism! She has also worked behind the scenes, directing the LPC Drama Hawks’, The Trail to Oregon and working on tech for the Wizard of Oz.
She will be attending the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, in Fall 2026
to pursue a B.A. in Theater with an emphasis in Acting. Maahee aims to spread awareness
on just how impactful the stories depicted through live theater are especially currently,
where all everyone needs is
genuine, human connection.
