Ella Bracken is a Theatre major and second-year member of the Las Positas Actors Conservatory. A passionate film, Disney, and space enthusiast, she also enjoys thrifting, finding stray cats, and listening to the Carpenters. When she’s not on stage, Ella works as a barista, crafting and serving handmade beverages with care.

With a deep love for singing and dancing, Ella has developed a strong appreciation for both film and Shakespeare during her time here, and she plans to transfer in the Fall of 2027 to continue her studies in theatre or film. Over her eight years in theatre, she has been grateful for a wide range of opportunities. Audiences may recognize her as Las Positas’ Janet in The Rocky Horror Show or as Dorothy Understudy/Ensemble in The Wizard of Oz. Some of her favorite past roles include Cassie (A Chorus Line), Sophie (Mamma Mia!), and Lola (Damn Yankees). As she concludes her time in the conservatory, Ella reflects on the many lessons she has learned—most notably, that true joy in her craft comes from letting go of perfection. She extends a heartfelt thank you to her family, friends, and mentors for their unwavering support and for continually challenging her to grow.
