American Foundation for the Blind | The America Foundation for the Blind (AFB) advocates for better policies that promote accessibility and ensure equality and opportunity for people who are blind or viaually ipaired, creating a culture of inclusion at work, at school, and in our communities. |
Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) | AHEAD is a professional association for individuals committed to equity for persons with disabilities in higher education. AHEAD informs members of emerging issues relevant to disability and higher education in the legislative and regulatory spheres as well as host professional development opportunities through workshops, webinars, and publications. |
California Association for Post Secondary Education and Disability (CAPED) | CAPED promotes the full and effective participation of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of California postsecondary education. CAPED advocates for equal educational opportunity through curricula, instruction, policies and funding allocations. CAPED works to eliminate discrimination against perople with disabilities and to promote their independence, growth, productivity, and equality. |

California Secretary of State’s Office | The Secretary of State's office is dedicated to making government more transparent and accessible in the areas of elections, business, political campaigning, legislative advocacy, and historical treasures. On August 10, 2018, Secretary of State, Alex Padilla, introduced the Declaration of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA). DSPS Solutions | DSPS Solutions is the unit that provides technical assistance to DSPS programs in California’s Community Colleges. The DSPS Solutions website provides updates, training, resources, directories, job information, Title 5 updates, and best practices for implementing DSPS programs in California. |
National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) | The National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) is a federally funded project under the U.S. Department of Education that provides technical assistance and information to college students, their families, faculty, and college administrators looking to learn more about disability services in higher education. |
U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) | The Office for Civil Rights works to ensure equal access to education and to promote educational excellence through vigorous enforcement of civil rights in the nation’s schools. OCR provides news updates, policy guidance, resources, and information about filing a complaint with their office. |
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs | The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is a full-service website where disabled veterans can file disability claims, review eligibility and claim status reports, receive disability compensation, and manage disability benefits including documentation. |
