Black Student Union (BSU)

 

Program Summary

The mission of the BSU is to promote entrepreneurial leadership, community development and outreach, cultural awareness and academic excellence. The BSU strives to break down cultural barriers and work towards creating an open, understanding and cooperative environment for all students at Las Positas College (LPC). The BSU shall provide an intellectual, cultural and communal atmosphere for LPC students as well as community members. The BSU seeks to outreach to the LPC campus and surrounding community through culturally relevant events and fundraisers.

What You Will Receive

Who Can Be A Part Of This Community

The BSU welcomes students from all different backgrounds and walks of life. Any Las Positas College student is eligible to join. Membership is limited to registered Las Positas College students only. New members must register with the Secretary at a BSU meeting.
