What’s the Difference?

Major curriculum differences affect three areas:

• The number of hours required to earn each unit
• The semester/term unit limit
• The repeatability limit

What’s New for Fall 2025?

• 1 unit requires 54 hours of work. You can work fewer hours to earn each unit.
• The semester/term limit is 10 units. You can earn more units per term.
• There are no limits on repeating WRKX courses. You can take WRKX courses as many times as you want. Please note that you should meet with a counselor to develop your personalized course plan for a timely and successful completion of your personal and academic goals.

Beginning in Fall 2025, there are no term limit differences between WRKX 94 and 95 and no work hour differences between paid and unpaid work.
