Committee Tasks for 2023-2024
- Reviewed and approved new and revised SLOs, PSLOs, and SAOs
- Held Flex Day workshop on developing, completing, and submitting 3-Year Assessment Plans
- Assisted the Program Review Committee with the reading and summarizing of annual program reviews
- Provided regular assistance/training for faculty on how to assess and analyze SLOs and PSLOs in eLumen
- Presented to the New Faculty Workshop about the SLO Committee and LPC’s SLO assessment process
- Joined administrators, members of the Curriculum and Program Review Committees in regular meetings with our CurrIQunet Meta representative to help set up our curriculum and assessment forms as we prepare to transition from eLumen to CurrIQunet Meta.

- Faculty training/Flex day workshops on how to disaggregate PSLOs using eLumen for Program Review.
- Participated, in partnership with the Program Review Committee, in reading Program Reviews.
- Collaborated with the Program Review Committee to revise the SLO section of the Program Review Template.
- Faculty training/Flex day workshops on creating and implementing program 3-year plans for our next 3-year assessment cycle.
- Provided regular assistance/training to faculty on using eLumen for assessing PSLOs and SLOs.
- Explored, through discussions and presentations, the possibility of migrating our SLO data from eLumen to CurrIQunet Meta.
- Created an SLO Checklist for faculty to assist with their writing of SLOs.

Committee Tasks for 2020-2021
- Long-range SLO assessment planning was presented to Academic Senate Spring 2019 through the development of 3-year planning templates. In the current academic year, committee members have worked with departments and student services to complete their 3-year planning templates, which are now posted on the SLO Committee web-page.
- As readers of last year's Program Review, committee members gathered campus dialogue on SLO and SAO assessment.
- In support of the new 3-year planning template, with a focus on gathering PSLO data that can be disaggregated, we worked with the Program Review Committee to develop SLO questions for next year's Program Review.
- Presented at Flex Day (Fall and Spring) to train discipline SLO Coordinators on planning, designing, and analysis of CSLOs for discussion, and to use PSLO assessment to identify equity gaps. Data from SLOs can drive changes in pedagogy to improve and support student learning.
- Review of new or revised CSLOs, PSLOs, and SAOs
- Updated SLO Committee web-page to reflect updated approach to SLO assessment to make the process more meaningful while still meeting ACCJC standards.
- Developed a new SLO Handbook with eLumen instructions (last revised in 2016).
- Chair holds weekly office hours to support and train Discipline SLO Coordinators.
