OWE ENROLLMENT (tuition) FEES?
The California College Promise Grant (CCPG) helps eligible students by waiving the $46 per unit enrollment fee for an academic year (starting with the summer term). This program is only available to California residents or students who qualify under AB 540 regulations.
Important: If you do not complete a FAFSA (7 - 10 days to reach us) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) (7 - 10 days to reach us), you must apply separately for eligibility for the CCPG Fee Waiver Type B - Results typically available in 24โ48 hours.

Federal Deadline for FAFSA
The 2026โ27 FAFSA is for attendance from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The federal deadline to
submit the 2026โ27 FAFSA is June 30, 2027.
LPC Free Tuition Promise
- First-time college students that have not attended college before. Students who have earned college credit prior to high school graduation or students enrolled at Las Positas College during the summer immediately prior to fall 2026 are eligible.
- Must be enrolled in, and must complete, 12 or more units per semester during fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
- Must be a California resident or AB 540 student.
- Must complete the FAFSA or CADAA to determine eligibility
*Note: Las Positas College must be the official college of record and the FAFSA/CADAA must be submitted for Las Positas College.
