The National Coalition of Certification Centers—NC3— bridges the gap between education and industry workforce needs. NC3, a non-profit network of education providers and corporations, develops and implements portable, stackable, industry-recognized certifications built on national standards for existing technicians, new students, and displaced workers.
NC3 certifications are built into an existing technical program to enhance what was already being taught. Integrating industry certifications into an academic course combines the best of both worlds by upskilling the teacher, providing the professional development technical educators look for, and providing students with more opportunities and relevant job-ready skills.
Las Positas College Automotive department has partnered with NC3 to offer our students certification in several areas.
