For New or Returning Las Positas College Students:

1. 1. Complete the MOVEMENT Application
   2. Julie Nguyen, MOVEMENT API Counselor/Coordinator, will reach out to you with NEXT STEPS and setting up your class schedule

 

Maintaining Enrollment

To maintain active enrollment in the MOVEMENT API Program, students must meet the following expectations: 

• 1st year in the program:
  1. Enrolled in the required MOVEMENT API Courses
  2. Meet with MOVEMENT API counselor once a semester for a counseling appointment
  3. Attend two MOVEMENT API events outside of class per semester
• 2nd year in the program and beyond:
  1. To remain in good standing with the program, students must do one of the following each semester: 
     • Meet with MOVEMENT API counselor for a counseling appointment
     • Be active participant in Movement API club (attending at least 2 events/meetings)
     • Attend one MOVEMENT API event or program sponsored event (I.E. Fall Mixer, FilAm History Month, Diwali Lights Festival, Winter Celebration, Lunar New Year Festival)
