The English Smart Shop Workshops are designed to provide you the extra support in English that you need to succeed. Each topic in the workshop series is covered in a sixty-minute format and with more detail than is possible in any given class period. This format allows students time to practice the skills and ask questions. The individual workshops can be used by students as refreshers, or a form of just-in-time remediation -- learning a skill right at the time that it is needed.

Supplemental Materials

A supplementary handout has been created for each Smart Shop workshop, and videos on many of the topics have been specially curated by the LPC English department.
