Guided Pathways Steering Committee
Guided Pathways Mission Statement
The heart of Guided Pathways at Las Positas College is our diverse student body. The Mission of Guided Pathways is to ensure equity and enhance the college experience and career preparation for all our students. Through our efforts and the guidance of student success teams, we commit to provide opportunities for students to discover, clarify, and enter their pathway, and to persist and succeed in achieving their academic and career goals.
Guided Pathways Charge of the Steering Committee
The Las Positas College Guided Pathways Steering Committee is a standing committee of the College Council. The goal of Guided Pathways is to increase student success and completion through change in college practices and processes: coordinating needed academic support, removing barriers, and supporting focused professional development across the campus. The Steering Committee is a cross-functional team that provides comprehensive guidance to the college with regard to the inquiry, design, and implementation of Guided Pathways.
