or spouse for their service!
We are excited to work with you and ensure your success at Las Positas College! We
can help you with understanding your VA Education Benefits, ensure you have the courses
you need for graduation, and provide fellow peer support to guide you throughout the
semester.
OPERATION GATEWAY is our new student veterans and military families orientation on Thursday, July 24, and Friday, July 25, 2025 at Las Positas College. To lock in your space, please click on the link here to lock in your space for Operation Gateway.
By attending both days, you will receive:
- Opportunity to win a $500 Scholarship for Fall 2025
- LPC Veterans First Program Backpack with swag.
- Connect with Veterans Services Organizations and Industry Partners at our Resource Fair
- Event includes continental breakfast and free lunch.
To schedule an appointment to meet with a Veterans Counselor, call us at 925.424.1570. The Veterans Counselor will provide you with a comprehensive educational plan which is required to use your VA education benefits.
GOALS OF OPERATION GATEWAY
This special 2 day transitional orientation is geared to empower student veterans, dependents/spouses, and reservists with resources to ensure academic success at LPC. We will connect you with resources at Las Positas College as well as support from off campus organizations.
