DE LogoWhat is Adult Ed Dual Enrollment?

Great question!  In a few words, Adult Education Dual/Concurrent Enrollment is when an adult student who is working on their GED or HSD enrolls as an individual to take college courses (tuition free) at LPC.  The process is relatively simple, and sometimes, these classes may also count towards your GED/HSD!

Apply in Five Steps

  1. Contact your Adult School Transition Specialist or Administrator to identify the representative for your school, and they will fill out an Adult School Referral Form with your information.  The LPC Dual Enrollment Counselor will then be in contact with you to discuss your possible schedule.
  2. Apply to Las Positas College through CCCApply.  After confirming your email address, it may take up to 48 hours until you receive your W# for registration.  If you do NOT receive your W#, please reach out to us!
  3. Identify courses that interest you from the Spring 2025 Class Schedule
  4. Complete the Adult Concurrent Enrollment Form.  This form will need to be signed by you and your Adult School representative.                                                                                                                                                                                  Adult Ed Concurrent Enrollment Form
  5. When your Concurrent Enrollment form has been processed and approved by Admissions and Records, you will receive an email to register for classes!

If you need assistance with registration, please do not hesitate to ask!  The process can be complicated, and we are here to help!  Please contact us at lpc-dualenrollment@laspositascollege.edu.
