Reclaimed Water

Las Positas College has used reclaimed water for irrigation for many years. Reclaimed or recycled water has been treated, but is diverted to irrigation instead. Because this water already contains minerals, phosphates, etc.; no fertilizers are need on our lawns or landscaping. Using reclaimed water saves valuable drinking water for people and agriculture.
