Computer Networking Technology (CNT)
Computer Networking Technology (CNT)
The Computer Networking Technology program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities in the networking field and in related technologies. CNT classes prepare students for highly recognized industry certifications, including CompTIA's A+, Network+, Security+, and Linux+, Cisco's CCNA, RedHat and Microsoft exams, and digital forensics and ethical hacking related areas. Our constantly evolving and up-to-date classes include targeted skills training in emerging technologies like Wireless, VoIP, VPN, Computer Forensics, Incident Response, Network Security, OS Hardening, and Penetration Testing. Many of these subjects have become beginner required knowledge even in other career fields. Students in Business, the Sciences, Arts, and Administration of Justice will all need skills in network technologies to excel in their fields.
Three certificates provide quick paths to validate training in today’s important tech knowledge areas, including IT Support (basic), Network Support (intermediate), and Cybersecurity (advanced). Students are also eligible to receive a certificate in IT Support Professional from Google.
The certificates are stackable, so you can complete one, and apply any completed courses to the others. All courses in the certificates can be applied towards our AS degree in Cybersecurity and Network Administration.
